The hotel is beutiful and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and there is parking. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Great place to stay if you are traveling alone, or with a group.

Friendly staff and great location. Well situated just a few blocks from the central square of Plaza de las Armas, this hotel was previously a family home. The owners then built additional guest houses, a cafe, the breakfast room on the property. There is a tranquil well manicured garden to hang out on nice days, a few cats, and a dog. If the owner is there, she is very personable and will help with any questions or contacting local drivers / tour operators for last minute needs. It was clean and reasonably priced. Just take note if you travel in winter and are used to central heating it will be chilly as there is only space heaters provided and you need to traverse across the courtyard to the different communal buildings. I absolutely loved this charming hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The garden like feel to the property provided an oasis from the noise and dust of Ollantaytambo. Staff were very helpful with information, directions and suggestions. Location provides easy access to main square and sights. Room was pleasant, clean and warm. Good breakfast

Must be best hotel in Ollantaytambo

Wonderful hotel. Large property right in this busy little town. But it has wall around it enclosing a beautiful property so you don't even feel like you are in town. Yet you walk the door and walk around town and even down to the train station if you like. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic service. Tula Gibaja, one of the Owners, was very helpful in directing us to hikes, sites to visit in the city and surrounding area, and places to go to. We highly recommend this hotel.

A short walk to the main plaza and a ten-minute walk down to railway station for Machu Picchu (MP). A nice room and decent breakfast. The lady owner was always very helpful. A very pleasant stay overall and great option for seeing MP to comfortable way!

Absolutely scenic little hotel in ollantaytambo. The manager Ms Tula was very helpful in organizing a tour of sacred valley on our way back to cusco. The staff also ensured breakfast bags were kept ready for us for our early train to machu pichu. Would absolutely recommend

Very safe, interior access via a courtyard. Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Walk to the city square in minutes. They also have a upper terrace where motorcycles can be stored if you are trekking on a bike that's locked up. I would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience at Hotel Samanapaq! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made me feel right at home. The lush, tranquil gardens surrounding the property were an oasis of serenity—a perfect escape after exploring the magical streets of Ollantaytambo. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with traditional charm. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I have in years! The complimentary breakfast was a delightful spread of fresh, local ingredients—each bite a delicious start to the day. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more perfect! It’s just a short walk to the town center, yet it feels tucked away in its own peaceful world. The staff went above and beyond, offering fantastic tips for exploring the area and making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Good vibes!

Great little hotel. Excellent breakfast! Really cool common space and gardens. Luggage storage was perfect for Inca trail. Drop off and pick-up can be challenging on skinny Old Inca streets. 5 minute walk to Central Plaza.
