Welcome to the mountains! This classic log cabin has a fabulous distant lake view as well as five ranges of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Perfect for family time or couples retreat or maybe just a well-deserved get-away. Enjoy extra outdoor privacy from our sundeck, patio and balcony. Each of the three bedrooms has its own full bath, and queen-sized bed plus all bedrooms are located on separate floors!
Preparing meals is easy in the fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary tools and appliances for making your meals. There is a large pantry for groceries and small appliances as well as a granite topped island for serving. Grilling is also an option with the gas grill located right outside on the covered porch. Enjoy your lovely meal at either the inside or outside tables then relax with the amazing view and a glass of wine in the Adirondack chairs or gather round the fire feature after a day of exploring. Our Gateway Mountain community has a private waterfall for your enjoyment and we are located near the Catawba Falls Trailhead in Pisgah National Forest in Old Fort, NC.
Free WiFi, TV via dish, Internet and Blu-Ray are available for your entertainment with monitors on the main floor and downstairs Rec room. You can snuggle up in the loveseats next to the gas fireplace to enjoy a movie or unwind while viewing the spectacular natural wonders from inside or outside our mountain home.
