The room had a pleasant smell when we walked into our BALCONY room. The room was a little dated, but you could tell they have made some updates. Soft bedding, nice bed, clean carpet. In the bathroom -the toilet was 'crooked' (facing forward, but knees towards the door.) The room was very decent though! (TV, Clock, Lamps, Fridge, Microwave, Table, Dresser, Sidetables, RECLINER) The hot breakfast was pretty good. (Waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage links & patties, cereal, biscuits, gravy, juice, coffee). The only thing I was missing, was a fresh fruit option. From the outside, the hotel exterior looks 'dull', but it's less than a mile from the interstate and there were lots of mainstream and local food options nearby. (Several within walking distance). I THINK I saw a pool in the middle of the property, but I'm not totally sure because of plants/greenery. The hotel does NOT have elevators. Only two floors, though.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. The hallways and the exterior were a little rundown but they seem to keep them clean and tidy. A few interesting cars in the parking lot, but we didn’t have any safety issues.

Check in was awful!! I asked for a first floor room as they have no elevator and my wife was recovering from pneumonia and on oxygen. She gave me a hard time and then said ok for more money. Her attitude was horrible. Room was not very clean and in the morning a cockroach ran across the desk. Will NEVER stay here again!!

I had high hopes for this place because it got pretty good reviews. The room was fairly clean but the outside was dirty with dog poop and trash everywhere. My caed key didn't work on the outside door and I went back and the clerck re-did it but it still didn't work. I ended up going in the lobby door and down a long hall to my room. The sliding glass door had a very flimsy lock.

Average because of security.

We loved having our dogs there with us. We did not feel very secure outside of the hotel walking them. There were so many homeless people, we felt uncomfortable letting our 19 year old granddaughter walk the dogs. When my wife went with her, they were approached by them. Security outside would be an improvement.
