Great Hoshino Kai experience as always

Amazing view, amazing food quality and amazing service, big bath is okay so I recommend choosing a room including bath on the balcony

An absolute perfect stay from the room itself to the astonishing service standards in the hotel as well as the meals we had in the hotel. It is hard to describe in words how good the experience had been. Would given it a 6 stars if possible.

Beautiful room but that’s it

Room is great as per photo and the meals were good especially the upgrade dinner. Staff services were great however this hotel is not value for money. Not for the price you pay. I think the hotel need to look into enhancing providing better coffee and tea, tea room should provide some snacks, room should have a basket for used Japanese clothes provided. The hair dryer is a bit 3 star hotel hair dryer. Just lacking the 5 star hotel amenities you will normally see. Basically is just a beautiful room.

The best hotel

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room is incredible, with the sea view and Japanese style, but really contemporary. Service was perfect and the food was really incredible. Best hotel!

Nice hotel and staff hospitality was great. Our 2 days stay include dinning and was given difference menu for the half-board. Hotel include onsen for public. If you need private room, you need to book a higher end room. Only setback is the train station is about 15min walk away. Not great if you have too many luggage to carry.

Stunning Ocean View

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hoshino Resorts KAI Beppu and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The lobby, adorned with modern simplistic decor, creates a fantastic first impression. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, including a stunning ocean view. The separated sitting area is comfortable but the TV is small (32”) though I didn’t use it. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s restaurant, which offered a delightful 8-course omakase dinner. Delightful presentations. Loved it! Overall, my experience here was nothing short of 5 stars!
