Foyle Street Chalet is spread over 2 levels with 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 guests, and offers everything you might need including a TV, DVD player, and plenty of board games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained.

When you're ready to hit the slopes of Mt Ruapehu, you'll love being within walking distance to ski-hire and the ski field shuttle. Or enjoy the scenic 20-minute drive to Turoa Ski Field or 40-minutes to Whakapapa Ski Field.

Tongariro Alpine Crossing is also a must-see, widely regarded as one of the best one-day hikes in the world, and starts on the other side of the National Park under an hours drive away.

If you don't feel like cooking, be sure to grab a bite to eat from some of the delicious nearby local eateries or enjoy a drink and a meal at the Powderkeg Pub just a 2-minute walk from your front door.
