If you're looking for a place right on the ocean, worth fantastic ocean views, this is it! As others have said, it doesn't have a beach that you can sit on chairs all day but the first half of the day, the tide is out far enough that there's plenty of sand to walk down to the boardwalk or play catch. The unit is older but they've updated where it counts and it was clean and well-appointed. The master bath is great, with a big new shower and large counter/ sink area. There is a full ocean view from the master and the living rooms. The second bedroom is at the back of the unit. It has 2 twins and the window looks at the wall directly next to it. However, if you're in the bed next to the window and open it, you can see the ocean, but the people in the adjacent property can also see you. My 6' 4" and 6'6" sons complained a bit that they were staying in the "servants quarters", but LOVED the rest of the unit and acknowledged they weren't paying for anything, and thus were content. The kitchen is very well stocked. Coffee pot takes KCups or ground coffee. The backyard is fantastic. It is like having your own private beach to sit and watch the surfers and sailboats. We enjoyed the firepit and the variety of seating areas. We went at the end of April, I'd imagine that this area gets pretty busy in the summer, but it was very relaxed and we had a perfect trip!Easy walk to the pier and everything near it, Go to Johnny Manana's and Parlor Donuts.
