Ocean Park Hotels with Parking

The property is called “Ocean View Inn at the Arch.” I booked an “ocean view” room and requested the top floor through Expedia (which offered a better price than booking directly through the hotel website). Unfortunately, the room was on the second floor and, at best, had only a partial view rather than a true ocean view. There is also a 5½- to 6-minute walk from the hotel parking area before you actually reach the sand, and tall trees and shrubs in front of the property further obstruct the view. When I asked about the top-floor request—which I had made at the time of booking—I was informed by the hotel manager that it is against hotel policy to place guests who book through third-party sites in the “good rooms.”

The tarp on the roof above my room was not tied down tight and slapped against the roof. The place is very old maybe built in the 50 or 60s but the room was clean. They had very few guests and I asked for an extra pillow and was told “housekeeping had none available “. You also had to run the bathroom fan and keep the door shut during and after your shower to avoid setting the fire alarm off. No housekeeping during your stay. The view was great.

I liked the fact that it was pet friendly, and that our cottage had its own little yard for our puppies. They also have a little breakfast place out front which has the most delicious biscuits, and brought us our favorite breakfast one morning. The cottage is compact, but still had ample space. Also, it’s conveniently located.

The view was amazing and the room was so clean. Everything worked also!! We love coming to the Adrift and especially eating at the Pickled Fish

Great place to stay for a large group and the property was equipped with everything needed (and then some). Will be staying here again.
