Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less crowded island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf shops, restaurants, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart rentals. The backside of the island has quiet protected water great for kayaking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was perfect for two people and so comfortable. Easy beach access as well!

I can't say enough good things about our stay and experience with this unit and the whole property. We stayed 4/5 - 4/10/26. Cliff, the host was awesome!! The unit was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed except linens, towels and dish towels. (We used the recommended rental service for those so we didn’t have to haul those with us. That was another great experience.) The unit was a 1st floor, oceanfront unit in a building on stilts. It had 2 flights of very managable steps. This was important to us because my daughter has MS and she has 2 young children (6 & 2) and it would have been too hard to have any more steps to maneuver. We were able to park right at the steps going up to the unit which helped tremendously with unloading and loading our stuff (Note this was totally by luck due to time of year. There wasn't a designated parking space). The pool was very close to our unit. Unfortunately the weather was too cold to enjoy the pool but it was extremely clean and well maintained. There were so many great things near our facility, the pier, arcade, mini-golf, park, restaurants and ice cream. Since mobility issues make walking long distances not an option for us, this was perfect because these things were literally no more than a block away. We plan to try to book this unit again, it was perfect for us!

Great location to beach, restaurants, pier, mini golf. Perfect size for 2-3 people. Had everything we needed. A small tv in the bedroom would have been nice. FYI, Mattresses are very firm.

This is the second time we have stayed in the same unit. It is clean, bug free and has a Carolina beachy atmosphere. You are just steps from the pool area. The bordering edge of dunes are beautifully landscaped. The ocean view is stunning. We even watched a small herd of about 5 or 6 deer walking the dunes, while sitting on the balcony one evening. The condos are located in the middle of the business area, so everything you need is a short walking distance. There even more great places to eat and drink, less than 5 minutes drive away. Cliff, the manager provided us with timely arrival and departure information and replied quickly, although we did not need his assistance with our trouble free stay. I definitely see a third stay in our future.
