Great beach motel

As far as beach motels are concerned, this one was pretty nice. Clean, spacious, and with friendly staff. Also, ample parking. Well worth a repeat visit especially for the price!

Great Value

We have been doing family trips to Ocean City for 33 years. We would often talk about the Barefoot Mailman and how much we liked the name. This year we were on a very tight budget, and all the usual places we stay was out of our price range. Then we saw the Barefoot Mailman with a unbelievable price. We reserved it and when we arrived the night manager Brad was so helpful. We explained that we had a bad experience once, and we wanted to see the room before we signed the paperwork. He went up ahead of us and checked that everything was in perfect order. Each night he came on duty he would see us and make sure we were happy with our stay so far. It was the beginning of Senior week and a pet friendly hotel, but we never experienced any noise or problems in the hotel. The road noise was loud sometimes from the loud cars racing up and down. Housekeeping checked in everyday to see if we needed anything. The room was spacious, clean, and had a king and double bed that was very comfortable. I would gladly stay there again and they have a sister hotel just two blocks away where you could enjoy the amenities there also.

Never tried barefoot mailman before it was definitely a great trip and will use the hotel again they were very attentive and super clean for an hotel that does pets. If you didnt know they did u wouldnt. Staff was also very friendly 10/10 for me

We were pleased with our stay. Room was clean and had nice amenities. Checkin and out was fast and they were really friendly and polite. Only thing I would say is that they need to make sure guest know where the ice machine is when checking in as we never did find it but we seen another guest with their ice bucket filled in the elevator. Also it would be nice to have a soda/drink machine on site. And I know it is pet friendly which I love that but there was one day that the elevator had dog urine on the floor for several hours before it was cleaned up, which made the smell awful. I know the dog owner should have cleaned it up but something that should be checked on more often and cleaned up if pet owners aren’t responsible enough to do so.

The Mailman Delivered!

My daughter’s second and my first time at this hotel. Great! Staff was friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Two thumbs up!

We came down for the Boardwalk Rock 2 day concert, and it was awesome to stay at your hotel. The staff was very polite and the hotel was located far from the action, but extremely close to the beach. Transportion to the boardwalk was easy on the public bus. The whole facility was clean and it’s fantastic. That pets were allowed. We will remember that next time.

Pet Friendly

Decent for a quick weekend trip with the dogs. Room and bathroom were clean. No smells or stains which is nice for a pet friendly hotel. Room could use some updates, including the mattress. There is a dedicated area for pets by the pool. All in all, I would stay here again.
