The view of the water from our ocean view room was beautiful, but honestly, that's about all this hotel had going for it. The images shown of our room were totally inaccurate. In reality, the room was musty, old, and falling apart. The "balcony" is actually just the walkway in front of the rooms. Check in was ridiculous and left us searching for the right place to check in. Then, we had to hunt to find how to get to our room on the 2nd floor. Luckily, another tenant saw us and explained how to get up there. They had the same issue and the only hotel staff we saw weren't able to speak English and therefore were unable to help. The staircase was in a cramped outdoor walkway (tunnel-like) between the 1st floor rooms that smelled like urine and had water from the a/c dripping. No elevator, so be ready to lug all of your beach gear up 2 or 3 flights of stairs. The listing states that it's a minute walk to the boardwalk, which is true, but it's at the end of the boardwalk, so another 20+ min walk to get to the stores and activity. I would say this is a 'you get what you pay for' kind of thing but the price difference wasn't enough to make this worth it for us. All of that being said, it all depends what you're looking for. There's a bed, a shower, a toilet, a/c, and a beautiful view of the ocean if you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor. 1st floor oceanfront, you'll only see the dunes.
