Beach view fine. Lights from boardwalk at night are too bright and shine into the room even with the black out curtain shut. The bathroom tile needs work around the edges where floor meets the wall. It's not a room with a kitchenette. It is just a microwave and mini frig with a few shabby metal spoons, forks and knives and plastic plates and glasses. The "kitchenette" area is really small. A person could not do any real cooking - heat up a TV dinner, yes, fry an egg, no, make toast, no. The decor was fine, a pretty turquoise color scheme. Overall, it was clean. I was there on business and noticed there was no iron or ironing board. I know it's a beach resort and most people don't need to iron. It's not a bad place. It's just not what I was expecting from the description. I think if there were a few upscale things like glass wine glasses, matching silverware (set of 4), Corelle plates and bowls I would have a better impression. As it was, as soon as I saw the silverware, I thought it was dirty.

We had a view of the non-ocean side. Fine with us for this trip. It was great to come to Ocean City in the "off-season" and enjoy the places that were open. Park Place met our needs.

People were nice with me. Still, the hotel has bed bugs, and cockroaches. Also, when I arrive my door automatic lock was out of battery, they have to fix it when I arrive, the tv control remote batteries didn’t work as well. I mean, those two things should be ready. My shower was clogged. 😐
