Everything we were looking for

We’ve always stayed bayside and took a chance on a new property this year and I’m not sure we could go back. The ease of the central location, having a designated parking space and being steps from the beach, made it so easy to set up in the morning, rinse off with the hose, come back for snacks and bathrooms and then back out to the beach! The view from the second floor was perfect. We spent many hours on the comfortable balcony furniture listening to the waves crash, playing games and reading. The condo was clean, well appointed and it was easy enough to bring our own linens and paper products, I assume this is partly how the rate was so reasonable for one of the most popular beach weeks of the year! The kids were so happy to find a few beach toys to play with (we added a few shovels for other families to enjoy!) The washer and dryer worked great and it’s a game changer to be able to come home from vacation with clean clothes to put away! Kitchen was well stocked with pans and knifes for cooking meals. The beach crowds were far less than a few blocks away where the high rises are, and we enjoyed having a little space around us for throwing a football, etc! There are some amazing food options within walking distance, our favorite was Pablo’s açaí and poke bowls for light beach lunches, and the kids loved having the uber bagel and fractured prune donuts nearby! Such wonderful OC vacation memories were made this week! Hope to come back again next year!
