4/10 Poor

In a nutshell, and to be charitable, this was a profoundly imperfect stay. First, the inoperative oven, which was not fixed until two days into our stay, prohibited us from cooking, and more importantly, it obliterated our plans with family Friday evening. While I know these things happen, this was an owner problem, not ours. Yet, no consideration was given to the impact on our rental. Advertising a unit with no working oven or stove is a serious issue - one would think that'd be on the list to check before a new guest arrives.Second, the accommodations. My wife and I loved the décor and motif of the unit. On the other hand, this unit was marketed as an "entire home," but was in fact a bottom floor. Consequently, we heard every footstep, faucet, toilet flushing, conversation, phone call, crying baby, clanging dish - and highly likely the reverse. Had we known the walls and floor were porous, there was no sound abatement, and that this was not an entire home, we would not have rented the property. Last, the asserted restriction on guests on premises. The only information in the literature was that no "parties or events" could be held. Having my son and daughter and their infant children is not an event or a party. Yet, Dustin used that line to berate my wife when she was inquiring about the status of the oven, excoriating her that no family visits could take place - as "4 was the maximum." Strange.Owner should revise the description with far more honesty.
