The Space:
Lodge 2 has two bedrooms, a ground-floor double and a twin, along with a ground-floor bathroom and an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a sofa bed and woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven and two-ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, and an air fryer, and for entertainment there is a Smart TV and WiFi. One well-behaved pet is welcome and there is also a travel cot and highchair available on request. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars, a private garden with decking, lawn, wood-fired hot tub, fire pit, and furniture, and access to a communal garden with freshwater dip area, furniture, showers. Fuel, power, a starter pack the stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a smoke-free property. Notes: The twin is accessed via a steep ladder. The Neighborhood:
Edith Weston is a pretty little village with lovely stone cottages, a pretty little church with a stained glass window inside, as well as a village shop. Post Office and pub. The nearby Rutland Water offers something for all and includes a Visitor Centre, shops, cafes and restaurants. Further afield are the towns of Stamford and Oakham with an excellent variety of independent shops, recognised retailers, character-rich pubs and range of restaurants as well as a weekly market every Friday. This is known as the playground of the East Midlands with water sports, nature reserves, an outdoor adventure centre and plenty of cycling and walking.
