Right now, unfortunately, the hotel is under reconstruction. So there is work going on all floors. Our room was fine, but there was work going on next to us. Noise, drilling into walls and such, started at 9am.

Great , friendly stay.

The service was exceptional, from the genuine welcome and chat when checking in, through to the staff in restaurant in the evening, and excellent team at breakfast. The rooms and decor is stunning and was a real pleasure to stay. Only issue is the small lifts , and if your on a cruise departing day where everyone is fully loaded with cases is can take 20minutes or more to get your turn in the lift. Other than that this must be the most friendly hotel in Southampton. Special thanks to Simmi for grabbing something we left in fridge once we checked out.
