Bacton is a village located on the wonderful Norfolk coastline and offers a good range of local amenities including pubs, shops, a fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway and cafes. It is also has its own fine golden sandy beach. Bacton Woods provide a great afternoon out for the whole family, with delightful walks to savour among nature. Nearby villages include Happisburgh with its impressive lighthouse, as well as Walcott and Mundesley with their fine sandy beaches. Bacton is a great location for exploring the beautiful scenery of the Norfolk coast, as well as the famous Norfolk Broads. Further inland there are plenty of famous National Trust properties to visit, such as Blickling, Felbrigg and Holkham Halls, or why not visit the historic city of Norwich, with its beautiful Norman Cathedral and Castle, and of course spend your money in the many shops, pubs and restaurants on offer.
