This place was very clean and had wonderful amenities for my family and I. The location was perfect and we enjoyed all the room we had with a full kitchen to cook our breakfasts and a washer and dryer as an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again!!

Almost perfect

Clean, safe, quiet, great parking for handicap. Only 1 point deducted because my understanding was I was booking an oceanfront room, only to find out when we got there we were in a unit across the street. I can't go on beach no more for health reason so I wanted a balcony to sit on to look out over the ocean. Didn't get to even see it this trip. Indoor pool too chlorinated.

Closely review before you book

The listing was very inaccurate in that it did not indicate there were two possible Buildings that you would stay in. Also, even though advertised you are not guaranteed to be oceanside which is the reason for us picking the property. It was not oceanside, it is first come first serve. There was no one at the two lobby's able to change us or tell us if we could transfer. We also, arrived before our 4p.m. check-in and waited for over 2 hours before they would give us a room. They told us we would get a text when ready, however they did not and we had to keep checking on an availability. This was particularly cumbersome due to us having 3 kids with us. The rooms themselves were as described and clean, just a terrible view pointing away from the ocean. Other pluses were lazy rivers and indoor/outdoor pools and ample covered parking. If you don't care about having oceanside, this is a great spot.

This is a timeshare property, so the lister has no control over which unit you get, which was clearly identified during the booking process. When we were checking in for a Saturday to Saturday stay, the resort's front desk told us that we were scheduled to check out on a Tuesday and would have to move rooms on that date to stay until Saturday. We had 2 elderly parents with us and had lots of personal items in the room (food, kitchen items, etc.) that would have to have been moved. Fortunately, after much discussion, we were able to convince them that we couldn't move mid-stay and the resort accommodated us, so we got to stay in our initial room for the full week I question whether the lister of this property had an actual full-week reserved, or just pieces together numerous partial weeks and hopes it is not an issue when the guests check-in.

NOT OCEANFRONT AS ADVERTISED

First, let me say the facility itself - the condo, the amenities, etc. were great. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the condo was extremely clean and well appointed. That said, we specifically made reservations for an oceanfront condo. I was very specific in my search and in speaking with Christian - the “host representative” numerous times both before and after booking. However, when we arrived, not only was our condo not oceanfront, it wasn’t even on the beach. It was two blocks away, with a view of some crummy, rundown houses, an electrical distribution station, and a major roadway. Again while the condo itself and the staff were great, overall it was not as advertised and not what we booked/paid for. For that reason, I don’t know that I will use VRBO again.

We couldn’t enjoy our stay, because on the very first night we found bugs in our room. When I wanted to get a refunded or change my room the owner or the hotel could not accommodate us. I will not be returning.

Nice place,really close to beach, restaurants and grocery stores. Pictures showed beach side room but got marshview once checked in did list it in description must have over looked it when booking. Owner said it was in description and added it to the title after I contacted them.

We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay included myself, my boyfriend, and two 10 year old boys. Honestly have zero complaints. The room was super clean, the air worked flawlessly, it wasn't super packed, beach was right there, and staff was friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect little stay

Me and my best friends booked this place for a much needed beach getaway. It was a lot bigger than we were expecting (very roomy) kitchen was great as well as bedrooms. Loved the larger room with the huge tub, where we didn’t actually use but spent time sitting around it talking. Great space and well decorated. Our only “issue” was we thought it was beachfront, and we ended up across the street facing the opposite way. Not the end of the world, and we probably got a couple places mixed up we were looking at. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place for a few days! Would love to come back soon!

MYRTLE BEACH TRIP

Stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time; Location was great and close to everything...Beach and pool was also nice; poolside bar is a must. got to see fireworks from balcony on Monday night from Barefoot Landing..overall a great stay!
