Wrap-around porches provide panoramic vistas, making it an idyllic spot for relaxation and hosting loved ones. The second floor presents an exclusive living space complete with its own bathroom. Located mere steps away from the beach, which is less than 20 yards from the property, and a short stroll from a renowned fishing pier and restaurant on Willoughby Bay, this home promises a perfect blend of leisure and luxury.

Our stay was a perfect Thanksgiving getaway. We had plenty of room for family to enjoy the beautiful house and views, and the kitchen was well-equipped to prepare a large meal. This home is amazing. It is cozy, very spacious and has everything you need. I think the part we liked best is the wrap around porch, views of the bay and direct access to the beach. We drank our coffee every morning out in the deck looking out into the bay and watching as various ships would cross back and forth. Seeing all the ships was as exciting for the adults as it was for my teenage son. We also walked the beach every morning and got to find treasures to bring back home :). The house’s location is very good as well. Nothing is more than a few minute drive away. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home and we’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

Our stay was perfect. The rocking chairs on the big, beautiful porch are the perfect place to escape reality while you watch the waves roll in and the big ship glide by on the horizon. The seabirds provide the ideal amount of entertainment. The interior of the house is the perfect blend of a bygone era and modern day conveniences. The house was 5-star clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the food, drink, and live music at the pier next door. Communication with the host was easy and welcoming. We had no problems during our stay, but felt confident that they would have been addressed immediately based on the accessibility of the host. We look forward to booking our next stay soon!

The vicinity to the beach was exactly what I wanted. The house is in very nice shape for a home of this age, with many modern upgrades. The fact we could have our dog come with us was one of the biggest deciding factors for me. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision to take a trip ( about 2 weeks) and honestly can't believe there was availability on such short notice for 7 night's. Would not hesitate to consider coming back. The restaurant at the pier is a short walk, and the food was great.

Dream come true

The pictures do not do this place justice. Every detail of this home is captivating- an architectural dream. Quinn did an amazing job keeping the authenticity of the home with some appreciated but appropriate upgrades. You want for nothing in this home- everything is well thought out and organized. Plenty of space for all of us! The teens loved the little hideaway on the third floor, the moms loved the porch, and the dog misses the wind in his fur. This was by far one of our family’s best vacations. Beautiful home and the one of the most hospitable owners!

This is our 3rd year staying at the Big Blue House. Everything we need is right there. Walking on the beach, swimming and our daughter’s family likes to fish off the pier.Quinn was very responsive when we had an issue with the washer. He got it repaired quickly. What a gem!

This property is amazing! The best part about it is the location. Right on the beach next to the pier that has a restaurant. We loved it! The house is great, it has lots of space and a barbecue in the garden. The pictures don't do justice. The communication with the manager is fantastic; they were ready to resolve any issues immediately (they even sent us a high chair for our baby to sit with us at the table, as our portable high chair could not fit the tables in the house). We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Big Blue House was wonderful! The response time when we had an issue with the heat was quick and friendly. We loved the location and the proximity to restaurants, fishing and sights. We loved our last minute vacation and would absolutely stay there again!

Winter wedding anniversary retreat
