King suite was amazing and the ocean/pool view spectacular. Louis at the front desk took care of us at check-in and was a friendly face in the lobby daily. Several staff became friendly acquaintances - Martha, Shandon, Kevin and Sherwin. Bellman Omar shared several tips and sightseeing suggestions at arrival. The Tunnel of Art over to the beach was a unique feature. The hotel was recently renovated and the lobby was well decorated and inviting. The daily free breakfast buffet did not disappoint and the daily evening receptions with complimentary 2 drinks is a nice touch.

I enjoyed the ocean view room Breakfast was very nice each morning and the evening reception with drinks were also nice. I loved the food options for breakfast and made to order omelets. Each day the food was fresh and plenty to choose from - not a like the usual breakfast style where you get cereal, muffin and coffee. Professional and friendly staff one note though...if you receive credit to purchase food and beverages on the property the tip is not included in this credit. I had to pay out of pocket at check out but I didn't mind, it was worth paying for the tips, which I thought was included in the credit.

The hotel is clean and beautiful. The hotel staff is friendly, and the breakfast every morning is really good. The two complimentary drinks each night are a real nice touch as well. Now for the not-so-great. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathrooms offer zero privacy. If you even sniffle in the bathroom everyone can hear you very loudly, and very clearly. Needless to say, using the washroom was a horrendous experience. I am not exaggerating when I say that we had to run the water and the shower so you couldn’t be heard in the bathroom. The rooms are just situated very poorly. In addition to that, the hotel puts a “tourist levy” and a “resort charge”, which is absolutely ridiculous. I was charged an additional $354.41, at the end of my stay, and that was in addition to the flight and hotel package I fully paid for months ago. It’s a scam, and I am not happy about it. In closing, I have been going to Aruba since 2000, but I will not be going back to the Embassy Suites by Hilton. I suggest you stay elsewhere as well.

Excellent! I read some reviews about the staff issues at this place, but I didn't find any issues at all. Every staff member I met and spoke with during the visit was very pleasant, including the room service staff. I really could not complain about them. The room was spectacular. Spotless. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Here and there, there were guests who needed some lessons in manners and etiquette, but it's not the hotel's fault. Staff could intervene at those sights, though. Some people touch food with their hands, eat with them, then put their hands back onto other foods, which is disgusting. This hotel is located between Eagles and Palm beach so both were easily accessible. However, we rented a car, so the distances didn't matter too much. I would say a good 15-minute walk to each one. There is a small private beach in front of the Embassy, which was plenty sufficient for my family. Palm Beach, when we visited, was noisy with people and construction. Parking in the back of the hotel was very convenient for us. No problem at all. The pool was a beautiful spot to relax in. We went every night. The blue lights were mesmerizing, and the jacuzzi was a huge plus. People tend to ignore the rules and smoke in the pool area. Security should intervene and stop them. I've noticed a number of occasions where security ignored them. Overall, lovely staff and hotel. I would go again.
