Nong Kae accommodation with spa

1st day no hot water in shower but fixed immediately. Safe different then what I’m used to so gave up on using it. Staff was fantastic! Friendliest snd most helpful people I’ve seen. Breakfast was great and the lunches I ate there also good. Some shops, restaurants nearby as well as weekend night markets. Also a few Thai massage shops which I highly recommend. Ocean at high tide right up to the property. And ocean pretty empty and warm!!!

You can't really go wrong with an Amari hotel, and the Amari Hua Hin is no exception. The location is a little bit further out then some of the other big name hotels, but it's easy enough to get to the night markets / shopping centres. The suite we stayed in was a good size and perfect for a family of 4. Some elements of the room were looking like they were ready for a refresh (damage to the desk, bedside table etc...), but nothing you wouldn't expect from a year or guest wear and tear. Breakfast was the same quality experience you'd expect from any 5 star hotel (maybe not quite up to the standard of hotels like Dusit Thani or similar), with a huge choice of local and international options. The pool is a good size and there always seemed to be plenty of seats / loungers to choose from. One small noteworthy comment would be that the pool bar staff didn't seem interested in walking around offering or asking if you wanted refreshments, which we did feel was a shame, as it something we've come to expect from staying at high end hotels in Thailand, including the Amari in Phuket. My wife and I both agreed that we would consider staying at the Amari Hua Hin again, although the rate and availability of other local hotels would definitely sway our decision.

We spent seven nights here. The staff were all lovely: helpful, courteous, engaged. The buffet breakfast is high quality and plentiful. The pool, looking out to sea, is gorgeous. Not too busy mid March so we had loungers and shade when we needed it but it’s a big hotel - at capacity it must get crowded! We loved our stay. Hadn’t been to Hua Hin before, it’s a busy long strip of a town. Being beach-side is great. And we very much enjoyed Tamarind and Cicada markets
