Great location and Amazing river views

We booked the room with river view and loved it. It had the view where the 3 rivers merged and we could see "The Ningbo Bund" - where the pubs were located. From 7pm to 10 pm every night, the buildings are lit with coordinated coloured lights. Amazing view. Hotel room has all the amenities and very comfortable super single beds. Location was great. We walked along the riverside to Tianyi Square and to The Bund.

The hotel is located on the side of the river and closed to scenic places. Staff are nice and polite. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is good with variety of food.

The room booked should be non-smoking but come up not exactly the case. The manager and the staff said it is the floor of no-smoking but for certain rooms are not.

Our stay at the Citic Hotel was ok. As both my wife and I were somewhat sick, we were particularly sensitive to room conditions. We felt that the room felt somewhat dusty and needed a thorough cleaning. We didn't have much interaction with hotel staff except during check-in, but the bellboys were very friendly. The location is quite central and most places are easily accessible.

Hotel is right by the river with nice view

Our hotel room has a nice view of the river. I was impressed with view. However, the hotel itself is pretty old and needs update. Furnitures are old and the carpet is quite worn out. Hotel breakfast consisted of good western and Chinese food. Staffs are courteous with prompt service.

OLDER BUT REGAL

Centrally located,the Citic Ningbo is a bit tired but shows fortitude in its grandeur, and can rightfully claim its place among the better hotels in Ningbo.

Good value hotel but with old amenities

The hotel's restaurant closed too early. WE were not able to try a dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant after 9:30pm.

Great value, a bit dated but nice size room

Location isn't great but 20 minute walk to the bund over the bridges. No convenience store nearby. Busy roads nearby so easy to get a taxi. Great service from the staff. Lawrence the concierge deserves a mention- very friendly, helpful young guy who speaks some English. He tried very hard to be attentive and helpful. The breakfast was fairly decent. Overall great value for money. The only thing I didn't like is the bed was too hard.

Nice hotel and we had a discount of the price.

We had a nice room with twin beds and a nice view from the window. We like the location in the center of the City for getting to and from the train station. We had no free breakfast.
