One of the most charming hotels we ever stayed in, very nice and attentive staff as well and in a great location to explore Saint Paul de Vence

Stayed here a few times over the years.
This time it was disappointing.
On arrival I was asked for my card to pay (thought I had paid way back in January on booking through Expedia). Maybe they were taking payment for room tax and additional breakfast we required, I thought. However instead of taking just that out they had taken the cost of the room for 3 nights + breakfasts at €17 pp. + room tax….. not only once but twice. I asked repeatedly throughout our stay if this had been reimbursed. They explained (in not very good English) that they could not. I had this hanging over me for the entire trip so it took away from what should have been, the short, relaxing, enjoyable break away. In addition we had a lot of extras as we were there with friends…. 2 x lunches for 4 of us plus bottles of wine etc. There was utter confusion at check out because on asking for the bill the day before, it wasn’t the whole bill. Trying to offset this against what they owed us ended up being a complete nightmare..! I left feeling completely dejected and it left us with a sour note. Also BEWARE the cost of €17 pp does not include top ups of coffee so when the lovely waitresses come round asking if we want more coffee that €17 Euros shoots up…. the continental breakfast is a miserable offering … no fresh fruit or cheese/ham (you add another €5 on for each item you want…!!!) Only baguette/1 croissant/1 small pain au chocolat and jams and yoghurt and cornflakes included in the €17. Overall poor.
Beautiful surroundings ,family owned excellent and friendly staff. The smell of flowers everywhere.
My only small issue was the property is slightly isolated though walkable to the village if you chose to do so.
I received a warm welcome and was delighted by my room and the grounds. Very picturesque. It was a bit too cold to use the outdoor swimming pool but it looked very tempting.
The air conditioning unit in my room though switched off made weird noises through the night. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water in my room on arrival.
Old charming property. Room is adequate.Light on staircase was not working, it was minor thing but we arrived very late evening so it would have been nice if there was light working on the staircase. Breakfast is simple and adequate. AC in the room worked well. This is family owned so you can not expect many ppl there to serve you for your need. They seem that they do the best they can serve the guests. It is close to the center of the town of St Paul De Vence.
This property is perfectly lovely and the staff — and staff dogs!!! — are wonderful as so welcoming. Such a beautiful place. Check-in was quickly and simple, then the owner walked us to our room, which was old-world and loaded with character. Great swimming pool, pretty outdoor areas to relax or play table tennis, a lovely patio for a continental breakfast. I was actually quite sad to only stay one night (had plans elsewhere). Will probably return for a longer stay with some relaxation time built in.
We loved Hotel Le Hameau! It is charming and beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and very true to the region. The location is perfect for walking to the old town of St. Paul de Vence (10 min walk) or exploring other towns (by car or bus ranging from a 10 min drive to an hour drive depending on where you want to go) in the region. The pool was great with beautiful views and very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious with excellent service. Be sure to enjoy the fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh orange jam! We can't say enough about this hotel. It's a gem. We loved it and our young daughters loved it, too. Everyone felt right at home and had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Outdated bathroom facilities and a lingering smell of dogs from the room rugs. (I didn't realise that dogs were permitted when i booked)
Unfortunately our stay started off on the wrong foot. We were given the wrong room and they couldn’t refund us the difference between the new room and the old one. There was no WiFi in the new room and also no hot water in the sink. Otherwise the breakfast was lovely and the property is cute.
Overall the Hotel was good with wonderful views of the Côte d’Azur and a 10 minute walk from St Paul. The food at dinner was good but over priced for the disappointing service that we had to endure!
This hotel near Saint Paul de Vence us one if the mist beautiful properties we’ve ever stayed in. The grounds are gorgeous. The staff is so warm. Restaurant is beautiful. Easy parking. Great pool! Super clean & charming. Overall, superb!
Great location. Staff was welcoming and helpful. So beautiful and comfortable. This was our second time at the property and we look forward to returning.
