Property was not in the best condition and lacked some fundamentals, such as towel rails in the bathrooms. Toilet flush function was marginal in our room. Best feature was the adjacent Courtyard Bar & Grill, with an extensive menu and excellent Marguerita’s.

Had to book something quick for a one night stay on our drive home. The price appealed to me first. I was concerned about the location next to the freeway and surrounding area but we were very pleased with our spotless room and since we were on the back of the hotel, it was very quiet. We drove over to Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill for dinner, which was very good, and had breakfast at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House before we started our drive. Delicious breakfast! Both were easy to get to and close enough to the hotel.

We had an issue with the shower faucet in the morning, faucet didn’t shut off. They fixed it by the time we got back. Friendly staff!! I was lucky to book at such short notice. And lucky enough there were still rooms available. The only negative thing I can say is that rooms don’t seem to be well-insulated, that I can hear others outside and/or other rooms. Other customers were such complainers even when we were just walking along the hallway.

It's an older facility but well kept. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. We knew breakfast was not going to be available. But there is a Tim Hortons within 5 min walking distance. Other options available for breakfast. Plenty of halal food available within 10-15 min driving distance.

Great update property and nice rooms. Couldn’t open curtains as faced parking lot with full size windows. Cleaning only very 3 nights for 4 days, a bit long if staying fir more than 4 days
