Gross and gives off bad vibes…

The lobby smells of must, cigarettes, and weed. The pictures of this property are deceiving. The entire place is disgusting. Looks like one washer and dryer for the entire hotels linens. The first room I was given was so dark and dank with one night light for the entire room. Switched to another room with minimal lighting, dirty refrigerator, shower, and dirty linens. I made my daughter and friend strip the bed down. Blankets had cigarette burns and stains. We slept on top of the sheets and used our own blankets we thankfully had. The towels for the room came damp and stained. The tub was dirty and so was the refrigerator. The place was also sketchy with signs telling you to park at your own risk. Abandoned cars in the lot with no plates. I felt badly staying here with my daughter’s. We are used to the old Cape Cod style hotels. So that’s not the issue. It’s all about lack of cleanliness. Huge bug on the wall near my daughter’s bed and they were afraid to sleep. Washing everything we brought immediately! Also the lock on the door from the inside for extra security was broken..

The beds had no blankets on them and we had to request them to bring them to the room. The room was very damp and our clothes became damp and had a smell to them. The floors were beyond dirty.

The property smelled like pot! The TV channels did not work, they said they had coffee in the morning but they ran out of cups! Room was dark and dingy and there was no shampoo samples. Back door to building did not work, had to walk around to front entrance to get in! Overall it was terrible!

Door lock to room was broken, no pillows, instead of providing towels, they told us to go to Walmart to buy some because they didn't have time to do laundry, staff was rude, felt very unsafe and sketchy.

I have to go back and forth in the reception area to ask for blanket and towels. Their key system were broken, have to be sure our room was locked before going to bed. But the staff was very nice and helpful.

This was perhaps the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Stains on the carpets, walls, furniture. Weird smells. Loud guests up at all hours of the night. I would have demanded a refund but Newport was completely full the weekend I was visiting and there was nowhere else to go. Avoid at all costs!

RUN DOWN MISS managed

I arrived at 510 pm,1hr and 10 min after checked in, the desk lady told me ,not sure if the room was ready?I asked could I have a 1st floor?NO:( she eventually gave me a second floor room.I entered and the room was not cleaned or ready.Back down stairs to find out no rooms ready again.Another guy checked inkers did not work.She had no clue what to do and kept texting the manager to no response :(I saw three other people walk in and get rooms??I got a room at 620 pmwas late to meet a friend,airconditioning was loud.I had to shut it off, low and behold the room stunk of vinegar .NO TOWELS in the room ,asked to have them put in the room when I went out,That did not happen.when I checked out ,desk person ,she said I was given them.A LIE! I pd $224,want a refund .

It is a budget motel with few amenities. They did not provide shampoo or conditioner. We requested an extra towel and told there weren't any because the hotel was booked. The key cards demagnetized several times. The rooms smelled musty and wet.
