La Casita & Camping
This property is amazing! Beautiful view, wonderful hosts, and lots of outdoor adventures nearby. We were a party of 13; two seniors, four adults, and seven kids. There was a little mix up with the listing as the Casita only sleeps 4-5 but the website stated it accommodates 30 people. We were whitewater rafting prior to arriving so we thankfully had camping gear with us. The hosts were so gracious and had a HIP site on the property that everything worked out. Half of us camped around the fire the first night while the other half stayed in the Casita. Our kids got to play in the play house, on the trampoline, and had lots of space to run and play. We were super impressed by the 40 plum trees that produced sweet fruit. My family and I stayed one extra night while the rest of our group traveled home. Our hosts had lots of recommendations for us to visit including Natomas Lake where we rented SUPs and kayaks. We also visited Mt Vernon mini farm who is owned by a lovely couple who let us feed their animals and pick veggies from their garden. We also hiked Hidden Falls which was beautiful and so refreshing. We definitely plan on making another reservation here. The hosts made us feel like family and we had a wonderful time.
