We stayed at this hotel when visting University of deleware. the location couldn't have been better. the school is right across the street. The room was clean with a nice pool. It had a beautiful patio/bar/restaurant to hang at. Loved everything.

Room was very well kept and comfortable. Facility is in a very convenient location for walking around to different restaurants. Breakfast was very good. Unit with windows to the street can be very loud at times from outside but no loud noises from next rooms were a plus.

Got checked in no problem. Later that night found out that nothing on the back wall of the room worked. Tv, fridge, and a couple lamps. The front desk tells us they can put us in the same exact room 1 floor below so I say ok no worries. Get to the new room and it is a 1/4 of the size. The next morning I go down and ask for compensation or to be put back in the other room and they said no. Ended up having to call corporate to get compensation. Found out later that they over booked and had to make my parents move to a smaller room as well. Not only that but they called friends of ours who was staying there and have had reservations for over a month and told them that they were gonna have to put them in a completely different hotel because they had over booked. The rooms were clean, but there seemed to be something small wrong with every room. My whole family was there for a wedding event. The pool was clean, but clumps of hair and children’s band aids were on the tile around it. I expected better with it being a Hyatt. They did end up refunding me a night and giving me points on my Hyatt membership card, which I do appreciate. Overall not a great experience.

Great hotel, worth the price.

This is a beautiful, new hotel near the University of Delaware. The bar area inside is welcoming and the outside is open and wonderful with fire tables for chilly days/nights. All of the staff was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Can't wait to stay again.
