While the property was clean and conveniently located, we had the worst experience via the fire alarm going off 3 times for between10-15 minutes each time. Once late at night while going to sleep. The seond at 4:30am the following morning, being woken from sleep. The last, later that day around 5:40pm. This made our experience at this resort very bad to say the least! While we understand things happen, there was no attempt made by management to make us feel valued or show any concern for our discomfort. There was an offer for us to join the points program for free points but only after we asked about some sort of compensation, after we checked out. Why would we want to join the company's program?

Pre-cruise stay

Pre-cruise stay. Breakfast was good and hotel was welcoming. However, if I didn't know this was a brand new hotel I would never know. The workmanship felt rushed around the hotel and the room was not the cleanest. There was crumbs and something spilled in the closet by the safe and wallpaper was scuffed up in bathroom. The air conditioner was cold but made a god awful noise all night.

Samantha front desk was wonderful, her warmth and attitude, so welcoming and she efficiently accommodated our request to move to a quieter room. The room itself was very comfortable and well designed. While there was a microwave, we wished there was a coffee maker. The only issue we had was the knob to flip the shower on was not easy to pull up and we couldn’t get it to go into position so the water never fully came out of the shower, it was mostly out of the spout and sort of a shower-we we’re very concerned about the bottom of the tub: very slippery, and no grab bars so going to the end of the tub to get the shampoo and soap and back under the (weak) shower felt dangerous-not meaning to sound dramatic but that is how it felt and we are not elderly or infirm.
