Stylish boutique hotel, walkable location!

A stylish boutique hotel in a fantastic, walkable location! The staff was warm and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. While there was a bit of street noise, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d recommend this hotel and would happily stay again!

Missed the mark for me!

I love the vintage charm of this hotel and the location was great. However, the floors were VERY loud (creaky) so if you woke in the middle of the night, you are sure to wake whoever you are with. We could also hear the people above us whenever they came home. I fell in the shower, it was very slick and wasn't flat. The team was very nice but couldn't provide a mat or strips to protect us as we still had several days stay left. They also never added a new shower curtain liner as it was pulled down in the fall. There was really no where to sit. The room was large but there was only one chair in a king bed room. It was leather or something like it so when you sat, it made a lot of noise. No foot rest or anything so it just wasn't comfortable.

Stayed here for the first time visiting NOLA and absolutely loved it. We had an early flight into NOLA and arrived at the hotel around 8:00 am with a 4 pm check in time. We were expecting to have to wait for our room but were given our room immediately upon arrival. It was clean, quiet, quaint, and overall just a great spot to stay in a great location.

After driving almost 10 hours to get there we find out the room wasn’t ready. It was almost an hour past the check-in time. We waited in the lobby for another hour waiting for the room to be ready. The clerk at the desk advised us there weren’t any unstained sheets to be had…. They offered to take off the amenity fees and gave us 2 free drink tokens for their bar. The beds were not that comfortable. We paid for a room with a window…the window faced a brick wall. The only positive thing I could say about this stay was the shower. I was very disappointed after reading all the other reviews and am sad to say it did not live up to the expectations.

Old 77 was great, and will definitely recommend and return. Only suggestion is to make it more seamless to apply a hotel credit in the restaurant/bar. Bartender was confused when I brought it up.

Not worth the price.

The room was as to be expected but for the price I was disappointed in the attentiveness of the staff. We arrived and waited 20 mins for someone to show up to the desk. We were told that the rooms are lightly cleaned every other day but never saw a cleaning staff. I asked for a clean room on our 2nd day, an order was put in but the room was never cleaned. We asked for towels and had to call down and ask 2 more times before the front desk lady did it herself. Overall the hotel was really not worth the price.
