Ebb Tide is a 1 bedroom seasonal wooded cabin with king size bed, small full bath, kitchen & living area, outdoor picnic table, lounge chairs & grill. Cabin is nestled in a wooded area a short walk from the parking area (approx. 75 yards) where you will have 1 designated parking spot. Please keep distance in mind if you have mobility issues. Pemaquid Beach Village is a wonderfully quaint village on the water. You will feel like you have stepped back to a time when things moved at a slower and lighter pace. The beautiful Pemaquid Beach is just across the road from the cottage and has a fantastic food shack called Mimi`s on the Beach (open during the summer) - the fish tacos are delicious! There is also a small and serene beach close by on Fish Point Road if you want a more quiet spot.
Kayaks can be rented down the road at Maine Kayak for a beautiful day of exploring the coastline by water, topped off with a short stroll down to the Contented Sole restaurant for an exquisite evening meal while you watch the sun go down. There are so many other spots close by to explore - learn about the siege of Pemaquid at Fort William Henry, take in the beauty of Pemaquid Lighthouse, take a hike out to the ocean through La Verna Preserve and cool off with a dip in the Bristol Dam Swimming Hole. Oh and the local grocer C.E. Reilly & Sons has nearly everything you could possibly need.
We are totally in love with the village and we know you will be smitten too.
There is 1 dedicated parking spot for the cottage, 75 yards from the front door so you will have a very short walk from your car. There are many things that can be explored by foot or bike in the area - beaches, a few restaurants, the grocery store, kayak rentals, Fort William Henry as well as several other amenities but we recommend a car to fully explore the area.
