When we showed up to check in we got in a little late that night due to late flights and I was unable to reach the hotel via phone. So they marked me as a no show and charged a $114 late fee to keep my booking. Super frustrating I’ve never had that happen before so I was pretty upset and disappointed

We had a great stay. The location was fantastic and close to many different places to eat, etc. I book hotels that have EV chargers and that was one of my main reasons for this booking. It turned out to be one of the best hotels. Very clean, taken care of and I was able to charge my car for several hours during our stay. We look forward to staying here again when we come to town to visit family.

The ratings for this room, or hotel for that matter, are way too generous. The bed is super uncomfortable. I’ve never sat that low to the ground to go to the bathroom, pet areas are way too small to be considered a pet friendly hotel. They wanted my dog to basically go in the bushes. Even though there’s an icemaker in the fridge, the minute you turned it on it starts making noises like somebody’s knocking at the door. So I couldn’t have ice, the ice machines that I went to did nothing. This room was way too expensive to be lacking certain details. Just because it was surrounded by condos and a couple of restaurants, doesn’t mean that you should upcharge. If I didn’t already pre-pay for the night I would’ve went home a day early.

I love Homewood Suites and seek them out when I travel. This one was okay, but not up to typical standards. We had problems checking in, 4 people assigned to a king bed. Attendant blamed Expedia, but I have never had this issue before. The guy in front of me at check in had issues with his room assignment too and then we overheard a 3 rd individual with the same issues. We checked in at around 6, so well after check in and we had to wait over an hour to get the correct room. Then our room was not a typical suite but was laid out very strange and it felt like we got stuck in whatever they had. The place was overall nice, but was not up to expectations.
