Sweet private studio just minutes from the downtown core.

Our cozy little studio suite is separate from the main house- you'll have your own space and your own entrance and personal private patio in the garden to enjoy. Our yard is lined with privacy shrubs and we have two huge trees, a Japanese Maple and a Black Walnut that are over 100 years old, and on even the hottest days the shade they provide keep our yard much fresher and cooler than anywhere else. There is also a hammock in the shade for your enjoyment, as well as a trampoline :)

The studio has lofted ceilings which adds to the bright and airy feel of the space. We are an easy, flat 15 min walk from all the bars and restaurants and there is a shopping centre 2 min away with a Safeway, Starbucks, and Liquor Store. Beyond that are paths that will take you right down to the water. This location in the heart of the city cannot be beat! You are welcome to borrow our bicycles to get around if you'd like. We also have a couple of cheap plastic kayaks that you're welcome to bring down to the water. Lakeside park is just down the street!

I am a Vancouver expat who has lived here since 2004, although I spent my summers here as a child so I feel comfortable saying I am a local. I work as an ER nurse and manage first aid for many local festivals, so I have my finger on the pulse of what's fun to do around here, especially during the summer! My partner is a local carpenter and we live on the other side of the house so we are here and available for anything you need. We live here with my teenaged daughter and our 2 dogs and 2 cats- we are animal lovers and welcome guests with well-behaved fur babies. ❤️

You're welcome to smoke on the patio outside, but not inside. We are 420 friendly, as long as it is outside as well.

We have only just put our place on this website, but we have been up and running on A*rbnb for a few years and our place gets rave reviews. We truly want our guests to feel at home, and we will do whatever we can to make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay!
