Wintergreen Resort: Weeping Rock Retreat

Welcome to Weeping Rock Retreat in Wintergreen Resort on. This 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home is certain to fit your individual or family needs. Tucked away on a hill off a quiet street is sure to give you a peaceful retreat to enjoy your vacation. Our home is located walking distance from the Upper Shamokin Trail which features a great scenic waterfall and easy trail for family. Great for large or multiple families and a short drive to the ski slopes.
The space
Our 3 story, 4 bedroom and 3 full bath home is perched atop a hill with (winter) scenic mountain views.
In the summer, the surrounding trees make the home very private and almost giving a feel of a tree house. The large expansive decking provides convenient outdoor enjoyment with an additional private deck off the 3rd level master bedroom.
Our home has a protected carport for ease of parking and unpacking. There’s additional parking spaces to accommodate family and guests.
There are two entrances, one from the carport that leads to the first level which includes, two bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room, foyer and indoor staircase that leads upstairs to the main living area. An additional entry is from exterior steps that lead to the main living area of the home and large deck. The main level of the home includes an open concept living and dining area with soaring cathedral ceilings with plenty of windows and sky lights for natural lighting and open airy feel. The kitchen, full bath and 3rd bedroom are also on this level.
The third floor consists of a loft which overlooks the living area with French doors that lead into the master bedroom. Guests will enjoy a large bathroom and private deck for morning coffee and offering a relaxing area to start or end to the day.
The kitchen has been stocked to please any chef with plenty of seating for the largest of families, including 4 bar stools for ease of conversation and open views to the living and deck area.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the home with two locked owner's closets.
Other things to note
Guests must be able to climb stairs, this home has 3 levels. Additionally, the driveway has an incline, 3 cars can fit at the top, other guests or visitors can easily park in the cul-de-sac at the base of the driveway.
In the event of snow, we advise to move cars to the bottom of the driveway until our management team can clear the driveway. Do not attempt to drive up or down the driveway in snow without 4 wheel drive.

We are high enough in elevation (3,850 ft) that AC is rarely needed. We do have mini-splits for comfort. Our home has abundant windows & ceiling fans to keep cool during rare summertime highs at the top of the mountain. Average temperatures stay around 70 degrees in the summer, typically we run 18 degrees cooler than valley temperatures.
