Respite after a tough travel day

The staff at the BWI holiday inn saved me after a very taxing day of airport delays. They were efficient and cheerful and from the moment I got on the van with Joe, my day improved dramatically. Taylor checked me in with humor and grace and my frustrations were over. The room was comfortable and clean. Good linens and pillows. Breakfast was above average for ten bucks and it was nice to actually have service in the morning. THANK YOU Holiday Inn BWI. Your positivity and warmth reminded me that flight delays don't have to be a total disaster!

This is a very nice Holiday Inn. The area is located in is not the best but it is convenient to the airport, the restaurant was good, the restaurant staff was very good, and overall a good experience.

The airport shuttle was convenient and quick. The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint was I was not informed of breakfast hours, nor were they posted in the room. I arrived to breakfast at 9:55 and turned away. There were no signs about the hours on the front desk, in the elevators, or in the rooms. Due to my flights the night before, I had no dinner. I was unable to eat lunch until 1:15 the next day, so I was a hangry traveler.

Good for airport stopover. Would have preferred kettle as only coffee machine available and no water in room. Breakfast and dinner available but no lunch. Great shuttle service to airport and nearby train station on demand. Good value for money.

Trash was in our room when we walked in, pinkish red stain on towel. Emily from hotel texted me asking about my experience I shared with her multiple times that there was an issue about cleanliness. She didn’t try to address the situation, when I checked out she didn’t say a word. Her colleague asked how my experience was and to her surprise I said it was dirty but you guys already know, Emily smirked and still said nothing, shows us exactly how you guys really handle feedback. If she is the manager, hire whoever the guy who check me in was. I can’t remember his name I remember an earring, he was probably the best encounter I had. Can’t remember his name, younger person with an old soul, so polite to us. But after that it went down hill all I can say is I’m glad we had a bed to sleep in. That was about the only thing done in the room anyway, was a made bed. Wouldn’t stay here again sadly.
