Goldwynn is nice and quiet, great spot for a family vacation. Only things we didn't like is there is not much to do, they could improve that by having a bit of music at the pool and perhaps someone playing the piano in their lobby bar where they have a piano in the evenings. Also, with only one restaurant choice, dining at the hotel is challenging.

We had an excellent time at Goldwynn for an adult mother and daughter trip. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel is well maintained and truly a 5star boutique hotel experience. The infinity pool is amazing and faces the ocean...the beach is directly in front of the pool which is rare for hotels in the Bahamas where you often have a very long walk to the beach from the massive hotels like Bahamar and Atlantis. I don't think there is another hotel Goldwynn on the island. Other hotels are stuffy. This one has a miami boutique hotel vibe and it's excellent. One thing that really stood out was the customer/client service and experience. Everyone was exceptionally nice, and it was genuine. Everyone we met was lovely and clearly happy and excited to be working there. We also used their vehiclese of distinction as a transfer from airport and to airport which was a referral from Goldwynn. Again, excellent and very very friendly service and high end -- our driver on both occasions had a brand new BMW X7 which was an awesome ride. Taxi rides were available from the hotel to anywhere, and very reasonably priced for the Bahamas. Cleaning staff were also amazing and cleaned our room to perfection. Thank you to everyone at Goldwynn.

This is a nice hotel but it is not anywhere near the level of a boutique Kimpton. Marcia at the front desk is rude and lazy. The restaurant is tasty and service is excellent.

Beautiful Property, but Comfort & Service Inconsistencies Hold It Back Goldwynn Resort has a stunning setting with unbeatable sunset views and a sleek infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The modern, clean rooms create a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff—especially Latisha, Mia, Zenovia, and Sherrie—were welcoming and helpful. Antiquea at the pool was fantastic, providing exceptional service. However, several comfort issues diminished the experience. Room temperature is centrally controlled, so you can’t adjust it yourself, and despite multiple requests, staff never followed through. Soundproofing is poor—hallway noise carries easily, and the elevator’s constant dinging and “going down” announcement disrupt sleep. The blender from the coffee bar is loud even on the 5th floor. Worst of all, a frosted window with fake shutters from the hallway lets in light all night, making restful sleep difficult. Room service was also disappointing—the crispy chicken burger was greasy, with a stale bun. With better noise control, adjustable temperature, and attention to service follow-through, Goldwynn could truly deliver a luxury experience. I love sharing my travels with my 21K Instagram followers, but sadly, this stay doesn’t make the cut. ⭐ 3.5/5 (rounded up to 4 for the standout staff and amenities).

It was very luxurious, but very expensive. The food was outrageous. Plan to spend 3 x as much as you would in any other upscale resort. Plus, the food was just ok. It was presented well, but the taste didn't anything to match the cost. Also, plan on spending $$$$ for rides anywhere, and no, it is not safe to walk back from Baha Mar/restaurants to your hotel even at 8:00 at night!!

This property is beautiful, clean and quiet. It is a gem within Nassau. Only downside is there is only one restaurant here to eat at. It is very pricey and drinks are very pricey as well. You do have the option of the Baha Mar casino up the road that has multiple restaurants inside with affordable menus. When we return we will stay here again.

Better than the Ritz.

We stay at Ritz, Four Seasons, etc and this is a comparable or better. The food is exorbitantly priced but it’s good. The pool and beach are spectacular. Not a lot of kids so very peaceful. Truly great spot for couples.

We had a lovely stay at Goldwynn Resort. The room was beautiful, spacious and well appointed. We dined at OIA Restaurant, amazing! The meal was exquisite and the service was on point. We spent most days on the beach and enjoying the infinity pool! The outdoor dining at Amara was the perfect spot for lunch & a cocktail! Overall, the Goldwynn Resort was exactly what we were looking for, a Luxury Boutique Hotel, with all of the amenities, and an incredible beach where we could simply relax. We will most certainly return. We appreciated and enjoyed a refined vacation experience.

This hotel is situated on a lovely beach and has an amazingly gorgeous pool area. It is also quiet compared to the chaos of some of the larger hotels. I met so many wonderful guests and "residents" in the week I was there. In general, my stay was great. While billed as a 5 star hotel, it had several glitches which I openly spoke to the managers about and they are working on them. Also note there is a significant construction project going on next door. While not too disruptive, it would be better if it was not happening. Hotel food was delicious but spendy. Most of the people working there were friendly. Shout-outs especially to Jay, "G" and David for their help in making my stay nice. The reason I gave the "area around the property" 4 stars is the beach right next to it (a public park) had a bunch of garbage on it. Also, note there is a road on the entry side, but I found my "golf view studio" on the 5th floor generally lovely, the road noise was not a big problem. The green was a nice change from the sea, it had morning sun and the deck chairs were beautifully sturdy wood with thick pillows.A wonderful place for morning coffee. There is so much more to tell about this place, but suffice it to say, if you can afford it, it is a beautiful choice.
