Our grandkids enjoyed the pool although it is not very big. They spent a lot of time in it and the hot tub. The house is spacious enough that the 10 of us did not feel crowded or on top of each other. Some of the beds could use new mattresses, especially the first floor bedroom that had a topper on half of it. We didn’t have access to the linen closet until about halfway through the stay. That meant no wash cloths or had towels / dish towels until then. Although there was a dishwasher there was not any dishwasher soap. The ice maker on the first floor didn’t work so we brought ice down from the second floor fridge. We had to replace the batteries in the front door lock as it started beeping and not working properly. Side door access meant this was not a significant issue. Yes, there were some drawbacks listed above but we felt the pluses far outweighed those. Plenty of parking with the driveway and second lot, so having multiple families with multiple cars was not an issue. Our host was accessible and responsive.
