Would NOT stay again!
This property was listed as being steps away from the historic center of Naples. That is likely true but the main Street that it is on is very dirty, congested and loud. There is traffic going nonstop all night, especially motorcycles that race up-and-down the streets. There are overflowing dumpsters lining the streets, along with random discarded items like car cushions, mattresses and bikes. There were men on motorcycles yelling across the street at one another. The restaurants on the street were all closed by 8pm. We did not feel safe here.
As for the apartment itself, the light above the entry door must have had a short in it because when you turned it on, it flicked on & off and then shut off the kitchen lights. The bed that was in the bedroom in the front of the house was sitting on wood slats that were supposed to slide into plastic pieces to hold them tight. Several of the plastic pieces were broken, meaning that the wood slats had nothing to hold them in place and kept falling out onto the floor, causing the bed to sink. It even did this for my 80lb son. The curtains, shown in the picture, fell off the curtain rod when trying to slide them open and the knob on the kitchen window fell off in our hand with barely touching it.
Communication with Diego started out great but he quickly seemed frustrated when giving us directions. He said go about 7 blocks and you will find the historic city center. He didn't say what direction to go. Also, my son left his airpods at the apartment by mistake so I contacted Diego who said he looked for them but couldn't find them. However, we were able to track them to that location. When I asked again if he found them and voiced my concerns about the apartment, he stopped responding to me. Overall, not a great experience.
