The hotel is very well constructed, with beautifully designed rooms—very much in line with Hoshino’s style. The room was highly functional, with thoughtful details throughout; the little touches were clearly intentional and genuinely useful. On the small side but we didn’t mind.
We enjoyed the evening performance and also appreciated the complimentary tea served in the lobby. The lobby and library spaces were inviting and had a lovely ambiance, making them pleasant areas to spend time in. The lockers were extremely useful for storing luggage before check-in or after check-out.
The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. We didn’t try the breakfast, as we preferred to eat out. The only reason I wouldn’t give this hotel a full five stars is its location—it’s a fairly long walk to Kokusai Dori. That said, being slightly removed from the hustle and bustle does have its advantages.
