CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations 30+ days before arrival: 50% of down payment refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival, forfeit all monies paid unless the condo is rebooked for the same rental dates & rate. If the property is rebooked for the rental dates (partially or fully) a refund will be issued for the rate that we were able to rebook the property for at the last minute, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Within 30 days: refund (partially or fully) only if condo is rebooked.

Hurricane refunds: applies during mandatory evacuation orders given for the area that the property is located in. Refunds will be given on any unused portion of rent from the date the evacuation order is lifted. No refunds will be given outside of the evacuation order dates.

Room was clean. Outside the room/exterior of the entire place was needing some cleaning, door needed a coat of paint. The only thing was that the towels were clean, but had permanent stains and should have been replaced. Parking is in a deck, with another deck across the street, it can be tricky and a little strategic. Good place for the price, would stay again for our sports trip to Myrtle.

Perfect view of the beach and for a last minute booking it was a nice place. Didn't spend too much time at the pool area. I think some local people would come in and noone was really managing. The tiki bar was awesome and the condo was perfect for my family of 4. Parking with a big car wasn't ideal but the lot across the street wasn't bad.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel it self was great the bar outside and the little ice cream shop was amazing and the women that runs it was so nice and friendly. We hated the parking garage there was never a spot and we had to park across the street. Not the best when you have groceries. That the only thing.

Poor run down studio

We paid for a 1/2 bedroom CONDO updated and beachfront condo. Got a nasty, smelly, dump studio! The beds weren’t even made we had to put our bed linens on the beds. We were not beachfront we were beach view. I spoke with representatives on (3) different occasions before our arrival that we were getting exactly what we paid for. We seen several different condos thru windows that were exactly what we paid for. I will never book thru VRBO nor stay at Carevell again.

Everything was nice. The room is a nice size, nice view, AC was decent. Good location, was able to Uber everywhere. The various pool options were great. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled like urine.

Great room and view

The room was great. Great ocean view and the room was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. I wasn't a fan of the resort itself. The parking was terrible it was definitely geared towards families with younger kids and not teenagers. The pool bar was nice.

Nice relaxing get away

Ocean Breeze was extremely accurate and we had great communication! The property was undergoing construction but our stay was not affected. The pools were amazing. The location was great for attractions and food. My daughter loooooved the pool and we loved the pool too.

Disappointing

Overall the location is great, the beach is great, however the condo and facilities are run down and very dirty. The Condo had minimal kitchen essentials, broom (broken) pots and Pans(handles broken) the bathroom has an overwhelming urine smell, I had mopped the floors daily myself and it did not help. The lighting is insufficient for evening, one lamp. Bed linens and towels are delivered in a bag, clearly all washed together bc they ALL smell like a dirty oven mit. The laundry facilities is run down and barley operational, washers dryers and change machine don’t work. Lastly I booked this condo because it offered an indoor pool thinking it would be great incase if a rain day: the indoor pool is closed for construction and part of the parking garage. We weren’t told about this. Severely disappointed in the amount of money we spent and the quality of this resort. The one positive: kid friendly water area, pool and lazy river are still well maintained.

Okay, but!

Our stay was just okay! We didn’t receive an E-Mail with our door code to get in, called the front desk and the person we spoke to was not nice at all. The room was spacious, but very dirty / dusty. The bathroom was very dirty. Kitchen space was small but very good. The toilet kept running through, it took forever to get hot water for a shower. Several times we went to use the hot tub but we decided against it. It was full of very young children way under the 14 year old age limit. There was a women in the hot tub with an infant many times. Signs all over about no smoking in the pool area but we did see many smoking. Guess no one enforces the rules. We probably will not return.

Couldn’t have asked for better!!

This was mine and my fiancé’s first time ever booking a place and it meet/ exceeded every expectation possible! The room was perfect for what we needed which was mostly sleeping and occasionally cooking! Being able to park in the garage on our floor and walk 20 feet to our room was a lifesaver with unloading and loading with a young child! The balcony overlooked the pool areas and also gave a great view of the beach. The pool area had everything we needed from a hot tub for the adults to a small wadding pool for little ones , a big pool and most importantly were the lazy river and the kids play pool which we all were able to enjoy! The quick walk to either set of elevators (there were two sets) made it easy to get down to the pool and beach and even had a amazing area we could just relax in hammocks and listen to the waves! Everything was in the room waiting for us and promptly at 4 o’clock on the dot we received the door code allowing us to unload and go straight to the pool! I truthfully don’t think we could’ve had a better first family trip without this place! We’ve already recommended to family and friends and have decided we will be back for future visits!

Good times

Room was great. Cooking utensils were very clean. Location was good. Liked how you put the bed cloths in plastic rap, didn't mind making the bed upon arrival, i knew then sheets were clean along with the pillow cases. On the other hand the parking was not so good. The main parking at the hotel was full, plus you had no were to turn around, u backed out. So there was alot of parking across the street which was great. The halls were not the best. I rated it a 5 star because it was a great time.

Disgusting

When we got to the hotel the elevator was not working so we took the stairs. The stairwell had poop from either a child or adult all over it for 3 floors. Had to ask for them to clean it and it didn’t get cleaned for 2 more days. Trash and food on the hallway floors. When we got the the room it had not been cleaned. The floors made our bare feet turn black. There was mold in the air conditioner that we called and asked to be cleaned and it never was. We went to Walmart to get cleaning supplies and when sweeping there was molded chicken under the couch. The only thing remotely clean in that hotel room was the sheets and those were questionable. The staff there were not friendly at all. You can’t use anything there until 9 am so don’t try to watch the sunrise on the sun deck. All together this place was terrible and smelt like septic the entire time we were there, we ended up leaving a day and a half early. I recommend finding a better hotel closer to the boardwalk.

Horrible vacation

The hotel sucked we got stuck in the elevator for over 20 minutes. Are fridgerator didn’t worked the entire stay there. Are air conditioner didn’t work so we ended up leaving 2 days early. Not only that they took more money out of my bank account an couldn’t explain why it was taken out. I do not recommend Vrbo to r ocean breeze or the Caravelle resort they are rude an disrespectful.

Perfect for a family vacation

Our stay was great. The location was good, pool area has great options. However, the floor was dirty. I know some sand is complete unavoidable but when I was sweeping it up, there was stuff under the beds from previous families that I swept up too. Not too sure how often they give the floors a good cleaning and mop. Also, we had a lot of our food go bad in the fridge. The fridge didn't stay cold at all. It was basically room temp. Even after trying to get it cooler by adjusting the settings, we still had the food go bad. Other than those two things, it was a good time.

What you see if what you get

The check in process was simple. We received our door code right on time. The room had been cleaned. However the floor did have sand on it. I’m not sure the floor is properly mopped. Our feet and socks were black. Which seems to be the norm by reading the previous reviews, still not acceptable. There is quite a bit of noise from the pool area at night, but it clears out by 10 pm. it wasn’t an issue for us. If you have a small child with an early bedtime, that may be an issue. You don’t have access to ALL of the amenities if you book through this listing, that’s something to be mindful of. Especially if you enjoy having an on site restaurant. Overall the room was great for the weekend. Not sure I would return to this particular room but would definitely visit the resort again. If you’re someone concerned with parking this place is great as far as that goes. We stayed in the 5th floor and was always able to park on the 5th floor. You will smell marijuana, even though this is a no smoking property.

Very cozy getaway

It was a great stay overall! My only issue was they don't send the check in info until the day of check in promptly at check in time which is 4. In that check in info it contains that there is no toiletries provided, garbage bags, paper towel toilet paper ect. This through us off especially traveling with two young children it would have been nice to know prior that there would be no toilet paper so when we arrived and our youngest has to use the restroom I could have been more prepared.
