Great staff at this location, was very impressed with the hospitalities offered by staff here. I believe its a family owned establishment which explains the hospitality. I do wish the location offered personal Laundry Equipment as an added amenity to make the stay better. The location is acceptable and appropriately priced considering multiple abandoned hotels and buildings just North of the location. It can get noisy on Ocean Blvd just out front of the location in the Dusk hours with the constant 'cruising' by people driving by in their loud cars... More of a local ordnance issue that Mytrle Beach should do better about enforcing. Would and will absolutely stay at this location in the future given the negative issues, none of which seem to be the properties fault rather the municipalities fault. Some first world requests like a washing machine and dryer to use would be icing to the cake on our stay but did not effect a negative view on our stay, it would just be an added bonus. RECOMMEND Booking DIRECTLY with property for best pricing. As what I assume to be a family owned location, I would recommend supporting them by booking directly so they can offer best price and discounts not available through third party platforms. Like I said, I will be staying here again in the future. It was overall great.

Our family pulled up to the property and watched a drug deal. The crowd circling the facility was so scary that we locked the doors and left without checking into a room. We were not provided any refund. The pictures do not match the facility at all. Our kids were heart broken! :(

Great property. I will admit that first look can be a little deceiving but once we were in the office and then our room we were very pleased with our choice in accomodations. We loved that it was small and not crowded. Great view of the ocean and easy access to the amusement park and also to the boardwalk and main drag. We will definitely be back again.

We stayed one night for CCMF. We walked to the concert and back - boardwalk is across the street. Cute, quaint family owned hotel. Very clean and we were able to check in early. Owners couldn’t have been nicer. Room - had a mini kitchen complete with oven and all accessories as well as freezer and fridge. Nice balcony with 2 seats and table. We would definitely recommend and stay again. The air conditioning could have been cooler but we were comfortable. Great place, you can’t go wrong staying here!

Great customer service. My son was arriving late to the hotel; the front desk reached out to him and gave him instructions to obtain access to his room. The BEST part is the clerk went way above and waited for my son to arrive instead. The communication was awesome and everything including the view was great. Thank you, Darlington Inn, for being the best part of his trip.

It was amazing that we stayed 2 extra nights. The owners were some of the best people I have ever encountered. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was the best experience. The room was exceptional. Lily was one of the best addition to the hotel. Had the best experience I have had at the beach. I want to thank the couple and lily for everything.

Other than the property owner’s dog not on a leash and it was barking and approached us the stay was nice. The beach is on the other side of the street. No vaping, smoking in the rooms. The owner has dishes and utensils so you don’t have to bring your own.

Been traveling to MB since the 80s. This place reminded me of the walk up hotels from back then. Nothing fancy but everything you need. The proprietors are so friendly. We we able to borrow beach chairs and towels with no charge. It is a family owned property which means it doesn’t have the 24 hour service you may expect but there is always someone available if you have an emergency.

Clean and convenient

We were there during "bike week" and the noise was insane. Not the fault of motel management we were warned before we arrived. The rooms were dated but very clean with no odors. We would stay there again but not during bike week.
