The staff were very rude during my recent experience at the hotel. I had made a reservation and, while waiting for some money to clear in my account, I asked if I could charge my phone in the lobby since I was $5 short for the deposit. They told me I was not allowed to charge my phone or sit in the lobby because I had not yet paid the deposit, despite having already paid for three nights in full.
Later, I managed to have the deposit amount ready, but then they informed me that they do not accept guests who live within a 50-mile radius, a policy that is not disclosed anywhere on their website. They followed up by stating they would allow me to stay only if I paid a $1,000 deposit, claiming this was a favor to me.
Additionally, before leaving the hotel, I noticed there was waste in the pool, which was quite concerning. In hindsight, I am relieved it worked out this way, as I can only imagine the lack of cleanliness in the accommodations. They should be ashamed of how they handle their guests.
