Located at the end of the road,with an acre and a half of privacy including 239' Hiwassee River Front. Lots of parking ,,secure fenced area for your pets,a level yard for outdoor sports and picnics next to sounds of the Hiwassee river rushing by, or relax on the porch rockers and swing.. You will find Trout Rivers Inn more than just a rental cabin.
Once inside, the main level consists of the living room,dining room,kitchen,half bathroom, master bedroom and a full bathroom. The master bedroom with king size bed & tv, opens up to a full length covered deck. Below the deck is a secured access down to the fenced area for your pets.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and a full bathroom. On the main level, you have the king size bed and bathroom with tub and shower.
You are 5 minutes to Walmart, grocery shopping,restaurants and activities. The John Campbell Folk School is just a few miles away. 

We've supplied the cabin with an assortment of games for outdoor fun! New Casino is only 10 minutes away.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Sweet, sweet experience. The river is mesmerizing and the beauty of the tall plentiful trees and pastures that surround offer a renewing experience. Home is comfy and decor is fascinating. Always some new artifact to discover. Comfort and thoughtfulness abound! Plentiful supplies at fingertips!The charming walk on the lane past stunning properties provides a refreshing pastime when added to the splendor of the river. All together convenient to services of every kind.Great retreat for family or just two……you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed 4 nights last week and from the time you turn onto the short dead end road where the cabin is located, you feel a sense of relaxation. On the right was a green meadow where we saw a momma fox and her babies at her den. The drive in was beautiful and pulling up to the cabin itself, you see the view of the rushing river and you just go "wow"!! The cabin is decorated in cabin and wildlife decor. Loved the layout of the rooms. Very warm and homey feeling. The host Robbie, has indicated where everything is located in the kitchen. Beautiful view out of the kitchen window of a grassy knoll. We counted 15 deer out the back. There were 5 geese with babies on the rocks in the river, groundhogs directly across the river and an otter swimming along the bank. Birds galore. I had to get them some birdseed at Walmart which was very close. Dollar General was only a 5 minute drive away. An excellent priduce stand nearby as well. We all remarked how extremely quiet our stay was. All you could actually hear was the river and the birds singing. We spent everyday either sitting on the porch or walking along the river. Great accomodations if you are traveling with your fur babies in the fenced in back yard. We enjoyed our stay so much that I booked it again for next year. If you are considering a stay here, you will not be disappointed if you book it here. Perfect getaway to relax, destress and enjoy your vacation time.

This house was perfect for our needs!!! The host was very helpful and communicated often, even allowing earlier than normal check in due to our arrival time flex!!!The property is just gorgeous!! The fenced in area is perfect for family & pets. But the views, OMG are amazing all around the house!!! The river right out front was beautiful and we saw a bald eagle, Fox with her Kits and deer everywhere!! Absolutely stunning!!!The house is very nice and layout is perfect for everyone to feel cost and connected as well as have their own space when needed, both porches are huge and plenty of room to enjoy the outside areas. The front porch is screed in and allowed for our “boys” (dogs) to stay out with us while enjoying the riverside. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of blankets for not only the humans but the animals too! (Very nice just touch)Of note: 1 - BEDS- the beds are extremely firm, so you will need to bring a mattress pad if you want any cushioning while you sleep. 2 - ANIMALS - if you have older dogs or animals with stability issues, the ramp on the front of the house is awesome!!! You will however, need to bring carpet runners or mats as the whole house is hard wood floors. (The Dollar Store is about 5 minutes away and got runners that allowed our boys to move freely without injury). 3 - WATER - they have RO water system for the kitchen - super nice feature!We loved our stay and hope to stay there again next year!!!

It is a beautiful, serene home with plenty of amenities and spots for relaxation. Close to John Campbell Folk School, it afforded me an opportunity to take a class while my husband took advantage of the many well kept hiking trails in the parks close to Brasstown. He and our dogs, who were welcome in the cabin, had lots of fun taking in the beauty of North Carolina’s stunning beauty. This impeccable home was a joy for all.

The host was amazing leaving me a wonderful birthday gift upon our arrival. The location was gorgeous and the river sounds were so relaxing. I fell asleep on the swing listening to it. The house was very well supplied more than any other rental I have stayed in. The arrival steps was very well detailed and there was nothing outlined to do upon checkout which was unlike any other place we’ve stayed. We loved everything about our stay except the weather. If VRBO can control that we’re in trouble. Seriously one of the best stays we’ve had and already discussing when we can return. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

Rushing river

The weather wasn’t the greatest while we were there. But it didn’t stop us from sitting on the porch, listening and watching the river go by and all the birds singing in the trees. Very relaxing house was very clean. Went to an alpaca farm where we were able to pet them. Had a good time will probably return.

Great space! Nice area for our pup, we spent afternoons and mornings on front porch enjoying the river. Evenings area the fire pit :) definitely recommend!

Wonderful property and Owner

Excellent property,everything we needed was there. Had a horrible storm blow through prior to arrival with some flooding. Couldn't use dog area or yard for a few days. No fault of Owner. Hopefully returning soon.
