Very clean hotel and excellent location as far as walk ability but if you’re driving it may present a challenge. The person that was working at night must have not known to tell us that we could drive into their square to drop off luggage and he told us that we needed to park down the street and bring luggage with us. That was quite a haul with 4 pieces of luggage. The morning staff advised us to drive into the pedestrian only square to pick up our luggage. Much more convenient.

A great location in Munich! This hotel was quietly tucked away, but right next to big attractions in Munich. It was difficult to access by car, so if you're doing tours where the cars need to pick you up, you may want somewhere that's more accessible.

After staying a bit north of town for Oktoberfest, we booked one night for two friends at this hotel in the center of downtown. A perfectly charming space and the front desk clerk went out of his way to give us a room with a third bed (we booked two single beds) because there was a third friend spending the afternoon with us before catching a train out of the city. Spectacular service and location, would give more stars if I could.

Best thing about this place is location. Central and walking distance to everything. There is no minibar or even a kettle to boil water to make a tea or coffee in the morning. They provided water bottles each day in the room only. Only Thing I would suggest is for them to have kettles or coffee machine inside the rooms. Service isn’t bad or good they kinda just there if you need them at reception.

The location of the hotel which is on the edge of the Vikualienmarkt is ideal for being able to see all the major sites within the Old Town area of Munich by foot. Even the furthest of them was only around 30mins walk. There are also numerous good places to eat and drink nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The only issue we had was our electronic room key kept not working over the first two days but this was eventually sorted out and for the rest of the time was fine. Can be a bit noisy late at night as there are a few bars close by. Also be warned that the church bells start at 7am. We would still use this hotel again should we go back to Munich.

The desk agent did not know any English which made it very difficult to communicate upon our arrival, especially when I was being presented with two rooms for the same night. The single rooms were extremely small, but the bathroom was very nice!

The hotel was very clean old, but that made it special. It was nice to just walk out and be in the center of all the shopping and the outdoor market. The front desk staff one person in particular was very rude most of the time. Parking was not available and so that made it difficult.

This is a very nice hotel and in a wonderful location. Marienplatz is the place to be, and lots to see! It would have been nice to have had air conditioning, as it was very hot when we stayed there.

This property was noisy, lacked air conditioning, had very poor furniture, institutional decor, and a shower that was hazardous to get out of. Very low value for the cost. Staff when we arrived was rude and offered no information about the area. Staff at breakfast the next morning was nice enough. Local parking is 40eu/day. Stay further out and use the subway.
