They put us in a smaller room than what we booked and paid for, refused to honor breakfast where it was clearly included when we booked it on Expedia. The staff was so rude he refused to communicate with us. All he said was Expedia must had made a mistake, then he refused to communicate further. The hotel is closed to two strip clubs, stay away.

This was an excellent and modern hotel in a very convenient location to both the main train station and the main pedestrian zone. There is plenty of great dining in the area (especially if you like Mediteranean) and and charming little brewery (Schloss) a couple of blocks away. The LIDL grocery is a 5 minute walk. The breakfast was excellent with fantastic coffee. This was a great option for my Munich visit. I had ZERO complaints.

Disappointing

I was disappointed with my stay. I am really surprised at the hotel’s four star rating. On a positive, the bed was comfortable. Staff on check-in not welcoming, staff when checking out were okay. Staff on collection of luggage later in the day, again quite unfriendly, also made me locate the luggage room myself and didn’t even check that that the number on my receipt matched that on the bag. How secure is their left luggage room? A previous guest had half eaten a pack of M&Ms from the mini bar. I brought this to the attention of reception evening staff and was told to come back in the morning. In the morning the reception staff simply fixed the pack with a staple (Photo attached) and gave it back to me to return to the mini bar! The toilet smelt of stale urine and had dried urine splatters on the underside of the toilet seat. The shower head desperately needs a deep clean or replacing. There was no kettle, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The television is in the corridor between the bedroom and toilet. So the tv cannot be seen from the bed. But. as I said, the bed was comfortable and I did sleep well.

The lobby was always clean. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious. Room was clean when I arrived but housekeeping only occasionally refilled toilet paper and clean towels. The room was never cleaned or vacuumed the whole two weeks. It was occasionally loud with doors slamming. Hotel is very close to transportation. Easy to get around from hotel. Hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. They do have a breakfast area that serves food. It's not worth the money. The lady who cleans and helps with coffee machine very helpful and nice. The man making the eggs is very rude. The eggs are not that good for the attitude he gives. Honestly the price, location and front desk help makes this a good hotel. Would stay again based on this

Easy access to metro station. Ongoing construction on the street increases the noise level. Room was generally clean and well-lit; bedsheets looked like they’d previously been stained and were clean but with a few visible spots. Friendly and courteous staff, quick check in and check out process. Great for a quick overnight or waiting a night to fly out of Munich Airport. Hotel is very close to the central station as well as Marienplatz.
