Always a great stay, the location and room appointments are top notch and for an airport location very quiet. Not the least expensive option out there but you can be from your room to check in, in about 5 minutes for an early flight.

The staff was very helpful! They even came to my room to help me thread a needle tha t was hard for me to thread with my poor eye sight! I was handicapped with a cane and they did not very thing they could for me!

It was a great hotel conveniently located at the airport, but after spending all day traveling I was really looking forward to visiting the gym. I had changed clothes and was able to head down when I saw the notice that it was closed for a 3-day period. For the price, I want all the emeneties to be available. It would have been nice to have been notified during check-in.

We did an overnight stay at the FMV simply for the convenience it offers and plane spotting. Nice overall stay, and the runway views were great. Given its a Fairmont it was obviously on the pricier side, but for us came a little short of what we expected in a 5 star hotel. But overall, the convenience, great staff and airport views trumps everything else, and we were happy with our stay.

After travelling for 24 hours without sleep I was stressed and tired. So much so that I couldn’t remember my PIN number. I asked if I could pay using my phone. The receptionist was v unhelpful, initially saying no. Then eventually said that in that case she would have to fetch ‘the other machine’ (it was right there), that I couldn’t use the mini-bar and my refund for the deposit would take ages. Up to weeks. On departure it was very different, couldn’t be more helpful and refunded me immediately via my phone. My arrival can only be described as unpleasant. This is not how an airport hotel should greet exhausted travellers.
