Island in the sky at the Mount Pilchuck look out, reviews out across Puget Sound. It’s moderate hike an hour north of Seattle, but check US Forest Service Road 42 conditions, they could be rough for low clearance vehicles.

The clouds came sweeping in and out on the peak of Mount Pilchuck. It's not necessary to wait for a completely clear day to see view from Pilchuck. Seeing the peaks of the surrounding mountain poke through the clouds was great!
Mount Pilchuck is a fun, relatively short hike just 57 miles northeast from Seattle. It is one of the most popular trails in Washington State.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Very clean, and well appointed. We can't wait till our next stay!

Great staff, very welcoming towards pets. Pool and hot tub were not in working condition and looked like it had not been maintained for years. Should not be listed as an amenity.
