Disappointing Room.

Not great. Sink being outside of the bathroom is a terrible set up. In addition, out king size bed literally angles downwards toward the headboard. We literally had to sleep on yhe foot end of the bed (our feet at the headboard). Also, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty.

Check in was at 4pm. Our room was not ready until after 5pm. They didn’t even say sorry or offer a drink while we waited. We were not alone. The lobby was packed with people waiting for their rooms. The front desk said it would be a few minutes. Over an hour is not a few minutes. Otherwise the hotel was nice. Good room and we appreciated the shuttle to Mohegan Sun.

The hotel was good and free breakfast was also provided. The receptionist staff were accompanying as well as the kitchen staff. Housekeeping staff was okay. However, I noticed that they did not change the bed sheet and pillow cases. On that day, my 9 year old son did not want to leave the room. One of the housekeeping staff came and I observed that they did not change the pillow cases until I informed them. The new day, I assumed that they changed the bed sheets. There were yellow spots on the ceiling of the shower as well as the bottom of the shower set loose. In additional, there was a crack on the cover of the toilet seat. There was also some scaffolding in the bathroom ceiling as well. I reported this to the staff and was informed they would let maintenance know. The area of hotel was safe as well as having an indoor pool.

Property inside and outside is dirty and tired. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper, walls were warping with water damage and grout in shower was disgusting. Although there were glasses available I wouldn’t use them because I didn’t trust the cleanliness of the room and hotel.

Less than 5 minutes from Mohegan sun (1/3 of the price of Mohegan on weekends . Affordable, clean, well staffed, beautiful rooms. Decent breakfast as well. Stayed here many times and will come back again.
