Location: 5–10 min drive to downtown and Loire Valley attractions. Room: Street-facing, very quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff: Professional and polite, front desk open 7am–11pm. Notes: Gated parking, only one pillow per bed. This hotel is not within walking distance of downtown, but with a car, it’s an easy 5–10 minute drive to all the main attractions. Amboise is a great central hub for exploring the Loire Valley. Check-in/check-out is at a manned reception from 7am–11pm. Staff were professional and polite. Our room faced the street, but there was never any traffic noise, making it very quiet. Parking was gated, and while not strictly necessary, it seemed typical for the area and gave peace of mind. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only minor issue was that each bed had just one pillow; a second pillow would have been welcome.

While staying we had staff come into the room before check out, despite hearing the shower running. It is absolutely unacceptable, when staff rush you out to clean a full hour before check out. Also they offered room service for food, but items weren’t available. This is important and needed because the location is far from city center and they lock the parking for your car from 8pm until 8 am and you can’t take your car out. Will not be staying again nor do we recommend staying there to anyone.

Localisation ⭐️ : Bien situé pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire, à proximité de Tours et de Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, où l’on retrouve plusieurs agences de location de voitures. Le centre-ville d’Amboise est à environ 20 minutes à pied de l’hôtel, où l’on retrouve plusieurs bons restaurants et les châteaux d’Amboise et du Clos Lucé. Membres de l’établissement demie ⭐️ : Interactions moins charmantes qu’avec les autres établissements où nous avons séjourné. Confort de la chambre ⭐️ et demie : Chambre propre où l’on retrouve tout le nécessaire. Il y a une odeur à chaque entrée dans la chambre. Nous devons ouvrir les volets à chaque fois. Difficile à dire si c’est de l’humidité ou autre chose. Quant au confort, le lit est très confortable et les chambres sont bien insonorisées. On entend tout de même nos voisins de chambre dans la salle de bain. Inclusion demie ⭐️ : Nous n’avons pas pris le petit-déjeuner, qui est offert pour 17 euros. Un frigo se trouve dans la chambre, mais on ne peut y laisser de la nourriture. On mentionne que la nourriture doit être laissée dans le frigo commun de l’établissement. Note finales 3 ⭐️ et demie

We picked this hotel for parking, but it is not walkable if you have a good dinner and something to drink. The staff were AWESOME - they went above and beyond 24/7. My issue was the room, I could deal with the room size - I know it's France, but there was absolutely no where to put suitcases and clothes. The room had a large alcove and instead of putting shelving or a dresser they put two chairs. This made zero sense since that forced us to live out of suitcases on the floor.

This hotel was away from the busy commercial area, so it was very quiet. Amboise is a beautiful city, lots to do, lively city center. We honestly weren't in the hotel room very much, just to sleep. It was everything we needed on our visit to Amboise.
