Welcome to La Gaucherie Aux Dames, in the rolling countryside of the Lys Valley, between Cholet and Saumur.

In a quiet, peaceful setting surrounded by nature, the cottage is located in a former convent, renovated while preserving its beautiful stonework, beams, and exposed timbers.

From the small covered terrace with its magnificent countryside views, you access the 18m² living room, which features a small lounge with a television, a dining area, and a small kitchen equipped with a sink, two hotplates, a refrigerator, a mini-oven, and a microwave.
On the ground floor, you'll also find the first 14m² bedroom with two 90x190cm beds, a private bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs is the second 9m² bedroom, on a mezzanine opening onto the living room, with a 140x190cm bed, bathroom with shower, vanity unit, and toilet.
Outside, enjoy the garden furniture and barbecue and admire the view at your leisure. A small pond, lit in the evening, adds a bucolic feel to the setting. The river below the cottage invites you to relax. You can access it and even have a picnic there if you wish. Experience a stay in the heart of nature, surrounded by horses, sheep, and cows. Hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails are located near the cottage.

In the surrounding area, discover the Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark (20 minutes away), Saumur (40 minutes away), Angers (45 minutes away), and Puy du Fou (50 minutes away). You can also visit Camifolia in Chemillé, the Oriental Park in Maulévrier, the Musée des Métiers in Sevremoine, and of course the vineyards of Anjou-Saumur and the Layon Valley.

The cottage is located in a hamlet with the owners' house, four tourist rentals, and the farm (sheep, flower and strawberry seed growing). Access: Coming from Angers, before the village of Montilliers, take direction Valanjou. The road turns and goes down, crossing a river. After the bridge on the left, La Montée.
