My family and I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Montgomery on our way to Destin. The hotel was nice and in a fun and walkable area. We really enjoyed walking down by the river. The kids were really disappointed the pool was closed for “maintenance issues”. Had we known this prior to our stay we would have booked somewhere else. Also our room was not clean. There were used Zyn pouches all over the floor by the pull out bed and the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. The breakfast was really good and the staff were overall very friendly.

The sofa bed mattresses need to be REPLACED! I sank onto metal. The pool was DIRTY! My grand kids swam and did not get sick, but the pool was slimy, and the area was HOT! There was dirt on the floor and in the pool! Ugh! Conversely, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere inviting for breakfast. The "omelette man" was talented and humorous. The breakfast attendant was entertaining and attentive.

When I checked in the Hotel said you cancelled our reservation even though I paid for it. We just got off a long flights from Colorado to Alabama with 3 grandkids to find out the Hotel was fully booked and Expedia cancelled our reservations??????????

The first room was disgusting. Dirty and a brown stained running down the side of the mattress. The mattress you could feel the springs in the mattress when you sat on the bed. The room had a strange smell. They changed us to another room and the toilet seat was not fully bolted down vent in the bathroom wouldn’t shut. Mold and mildew in the shower. The first night the pool was closed. When they opened it the next night the water was cloudy and had dead bugs floating in it. The ceiling was leaking in the dinning area, with buckets catching the water. The rate you charged us was outrageous, we could have stayed at the renaissance across the street and had top of the line accommodations. I was disappointed they no longer have a jacuzzi.

Nice area to be able to just park and walk around. The rooms could use some upgrading, the furniture was pretty beat up. AC didnt seem cool very efficiently. Bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the evening reception and breakfast buffet. The lobby was nice and enviting.
