Hotel beds are brand new and super hard and very uncomfortable. Bedsheets in my room didn’t fit the bed. Rooms are clean and newly fixed up. Low water pressure in showers. Area surrounding hotel is not nice. Good people work there. 👍

Recently remodeled clean comfortable. The Red Roof is next door it had very loud rowdy guests don’t stay there. There airport is close but never bothered us. This place is animal friendly and I’m a cat so this always is a plus 😸. With my ebikes you are only 5 minutes to Fisherman’s Wharf or downtown. Monterey Fish house is a good restaurant and many more walking distance from your room See ya Ryder_brewery _cat

Stayed for a week and enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, relaxing, within walking distance of stores and dining, and also close to everything we needed. Staff & service here are also wonderful. Easy parking, clean and spacious rooms, and nice thick walls where we could barely notice anyone next to us. Definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Monterey!

Best Value and Most Comfortable Lodging in Montere

This is one of the nicest motels we've ever a Stayed in. The staff have all been very nice, the rooms have been recently been renovated and are very clean, comfortable, well maintained, and all at a very reasonable price. The location is perfect for all of the outdoor venues and restaurants.

There's plenty of small budget hotels on the Monterey peninsula and I've stayed at many of them. What sets this one apart is the remodel which was done very well, very clean rooms, and the huge, (and I do mean HUGE), in-room hot tubs. It's the first place I look when I need a room in Monterey or Seaside.

This motel is a great value. The rooms are completely renovated in a very minimalist way. We found it to be almost "institutional" in appearance. No carpet, no drapes, no pictures, no hooks or towel bars, no lamps. However, everything functioned well and was very clean. Beds were comfortable. I would have loved some softer lighting (lamps) AND some hooks in the bathroom. But clearly they are going for a no frills function. Bring ear plugs. Airport is very close.

I liked how clean it was inside, the only thing I would suggest is bring your own pillow. The pillows were super huge, some people may like them like that ; but I would recommend regular pillows as well.
