Great low-cost option for Monterey. Only 5 minutes from the beach and lots of places to eat nearby. It looks like the rooms were recently renovated and they’re very clean.

For the money it is as worth it but not my favorite place to stay. Small room and a little noisy. We were spoiled at the last few places we stayed, so that may have soured our outlook at the place unfairly. I think overall it was worth the money. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful!

great place for the price. Bed was memory foam and very comfortable. Newly remodeled, refrigerator and microwave and dunk tanks for out scuba gear. Close to food and super marker. TV is too small

Awesome little motel especially if you have dogs, but regardless. Close to several restaurants within easy walking or driving distance. Easy parking nearly everywhere. The room was quiet. The first-responders were active while I was there but aside from occasional sirens, quiet and peaceful. The AC unit in the room was pretty loud when it kicked on between fan mode, but I was able to sleep no problem. 10/10 would stay here again! My pup was comfortable and the amenities were very adequate given the accompanying pet accommodations!

I’m a repeat customer and will continue to be. Always a pleasant stay each and every time. The AC unit was messed up on one of the rooms so they reassigned us to another room while it was replaced and put us back in our original room the next day. Pleasant experience all around. Highly recommended!

We loved the fact that we had enough room for everything. We had a party of 5, and we enjoyed our stay, if we could have stayed longer we would. But its less than 15 minutes away from the Aquarium which made it very convenient.

This hotel I would recommend to everyone. The staff goes above and beyond from the front desk to house keeping. They are friendly, professional, and accommodating. The rooms are exceptionally clean, even the floors, which in my experience even the high end hotels don’t keep up. They are spacious and the rooms layout and decor supports a relaxing stay. If you get a chance get the room with a hot tub, I’ll let you be surprised when you see it as I was. If you are searching for a hotel and have read this, look no further I can 10% guarantee you’ll be satisfied if not thrilled with staying at the Lone Oak.
